Neo-Baptists Dr. Ronald L. Tottingham Has modern fundamentalism become a "Neo-Baptist" movement? We see the loss of an inspired Bible, the loss of Christian standards, evangelical contemporary music, "private" only schools in the churches (or plain irresponsibility toward God's charge to educate) , etc. Many, many "Baptist" churches fall under this indictment. This is not the old-fashioned historic faith - the true Baptist faith. This modern Baptist movement is a Neo-Baptist movement. The old time Baptists fought for their children, educated them separate, lived separate, and were greatly persecuted for it. Neo-Baptists are compromised, learning the heathen's ways through TV and video's, singing their songs and living their lifestyle. Oh, for some old-fashioned Baptists and not these Neo-Baptists. |
