2010 Annual Preaching Conference - October 3-6

Since 1983 we have hosted an annual preching conference with a focus towards freedom to exalt Christ and encourage each other. Though we will fight sin, compromise, and other issues with a fervor, we have no desire to fight any sound brethren, nor do we desire affiliation politics. Just sound God-called, soul-stirring, Baptist preaching; that's what this conference is all about.

"Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man (Iron) sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." Proverbs 27:17

God ordained that Men sharpen Men.

"As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not..." Ezekiel 3:9

Preachers are hardened by the Lord's tempering and the people of our flocks will NOT sharpen us, Pastoring blunts our edge.

"If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct." Ecclesiastes 10:10

When our Iron is blunt we are required to work much harder. It is wisdom to get our Iron sharpened regularly. Our people need our Iron sharp, our minsitry needs our Iron sharp--Our Lord desires our Iron sharp!
